Process and Printmaking Demonstrations - Free event. A part of the Castlemaine State Festival
Jeff Gardner's Printmaking Studio is situated in a converted Sunday School adjacent to Cascade Art Gallery. Inside - an extraordinary collection of printing presses and technologies Jeff has gathered over many years.
On both Saturdays of the Castlemaine State Festival Jeff will demonstrate a variety of printmaking techniques on his beloved presses. Jeff's printmaking practice includes works on paper as well as limited editions of books of poetry. "Drawing an etching is a bit like meditation and you invariably enter in to the 'quiet zone' of inner thought."
