Dean Bowen - Perched

Thursday 4 June - Sunday 28 June 2026

Dean Bowen’s work address’s themes relating to our relationship with the natural environment, everyday life, and plays with aspects of scale reflecting on both the monumental as well as the miniature.

His artworks of animals and birds are often anthropomorphized and explore the idiosyncratic interplay between mankind and the animal kingdom often in humorous and optimistic ways.

The artist’s works reference childhood memories and the everyday pleasures of human habitation within the urban and natural worlds.

This new exhibition, Perched - The Art of Dean Bowen brings together a selection of oil paintings, bronze sculpture and works on paper.
