Maldon in Winter Exhibition
Missed some of our excellent exhibitions? Never fear Maldon in Winter is always a time to rug up in your best blanket, I personally go for a doona stroke sleeping bag outfit, super toasty which means I can see more art galleries. Win win.

Cascade will have all our favourite artists on display. David Moore, John Wolseley, Liz Sullivan, Julie Andrews, KJ Bishop, Jeff Gardner, David Frazer, Gabrielle Martin, Sam Varian, Dean Bowen and more. Cascade Art Gallery is Maldon’s Fine Art Treasure set in the big Gothic former church building just up from the Kangaroo Hotel, one minute from Main Street in Fountain Street opposite the Maldon Gardens – like Tour Eiffel, just look up and you will see the white parapet and pinnacle spires. You can wander through the heated gallery and enjoy a personalised tour of artworks hidden away in the archive or plan drawers.

A deep reef of golden opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The Maldon in Winter Festival is a celebration of Maldon’s creative spirit.
There will be popup bars, exhibitions, music and fun.
Visitors can arrive in true Goldfield's style on the steam-train from Castlemaine, or catch a coach drawn by great Clydesdale horses.
Come visit a true country community, sample prize-winning scones with jam and cream, French cuisine or a genuine pub meal. The log fires will be blazing in all the cafes. The B&Bs are snug, with delightful gardens.
